Round 3 - Oulton Park

Bike stripped down getting ready for Pembrey.

....and after, amazing what a bit of T-Cut can do!

Unfortunately due to the problems I experienced at Snetterton and limited finances Argaum racing was unable to attend this round of the championship.  Luckily this round is limited to two races and so fortunately my championship standing has not changed and after this round I remain in 12th position.

As I was unable to go to Oulton Park I took the opportunity to carry out the following work on the bike:

     1) Front Brake Calipers - complete strip down and overhaul (clean and new seals).

  Top Tip: understanding wife + dishwasher = very clean calipers

      2) Replace damaged fork seal and replace fork oil

     3) Fit new end can - thank you Dad for the freebie and Mum for posting it.

     4) Improve Rev counter wiring installation (originally fitted in a hurry at Snetterton)

     5) Centrally mount rev counter

     6) Change gearing

     7) Remove, clean, soak in oil, and reinstall chain - to stop tight spots from developing

     8) Oil and Filter change

     9) Clean the bike
